Frustrated boss Kenny Jackett today ordered his Wolves defenders to toughen up to stop the flood of goals against.

Saturday's see-saw 3-3 draw at Millwall made it 11 goals conceded in the last four games after just three in eight beforehand.

Wolves threw away a 3-0 lead after set-piece efforts from Danny Batth, Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Bakary Sako inside 64 minutes were cancelled out by Lee Gregory and a brace from veteran substitute Ricardo Fuller.

And following the late collapse, Jackett wants his defensive players to be stronger to deal with the physical side of the Championship.

"There are a lot of headers and a lot of first and second balls you have to deal with in this division, and you have to be big enough and strong enough to cope with that," said the head coach.

"There was a physical pressure right along our back four all of the time and it's something we haven't withstood particularly well.

"We had to deal with a hell of a lot of long balls on Saturday."

Jackett changed half of his back four for the return to his old club, dropping ever-presents Richard Stearman and Scott Golbourne to the bench.

Ebanks-Landell made his first appearance in the Championship and Tommy Rowe was switched to left-back.

"I wouldn't say they (goals against) are all down to one person but it was disappointing," said Jackett.

"It's something we need to improve upon. If you're going to pick up points on a regular basis you need to conceded zeros and ones.

"Conceding three can't happen too often if you want to be successful."

Wolves will be fined by the FA after having six players booked on Saturday, while Millwall had one booked and Shaun Williams sent off at the death.
