The 25-year-old striker joined on loan until January from the Premier League Tigers yesterday and Bruce is convinced he will impress at Molineux.

Talking exclusively to the Express & Star, he said: "He's a very good player and I'm sure he will do very well for Wolves.

"He is big strong and powerful and he can move – he is quick and he is a good footballer technically too.

"You have got yourselves a really good player and footballer."

Sagbo joined Hull from French outfit Evian in July 2013 and made 35 appearances during his first season in England, scoring four goals.

But he has featured only once this term and Bruce believes the increased game time he's likely to see at Wolves will serve him well.

He said: "He needs games and with us going out of the Capital One Cup and the Europa League we were not going to be able to give them to him at present. I'm sure he will do an excellent job in the Championship."

Sagbo revealed he spoke to Bakary Sako before making the move to Molineux.

Marseille-born Sagbo feels having another French speaker in the dressing room will help him settle.

He said: "I know Wolves is a big club in England and I know Bakary Sako so I spoke to him about it. He told me the coach is a good guy as well and I am happy to be here."

Sagbo goes straight into the squad for tonight's game with Huddersfield Town at Molineux.
