Four days on from accusing his players of lacking desire and hunger, demanding boss Kenny Jackett was much happier with Wolves' performance.

Wolves returned to winning ways after drawing 2-2 at Peterborough thanks to a last-gasp strike from Nouha Dicko.

But for all their possession in stifling temperatures, the head coach will be looking for more clear-cut chances and more end product when the action starts for real in 13 days' time against Norwich.

"It was a very competitive game," said Jackett. "We dominated possession, which is good, because that's the first thing you have to do – win the battle for control of the game.

"We didn't do enough with the ball around the box when we were perhaps too intricate, and for the majority of the time our crossing was somewhat lacking. But we showed good control of the game and I was pleased with a clean sheet.

"Getting a zero against and dominating possession are two of the things that make you a good side.

"After that you're looking to find that little extra around the box and perhaps find the player who's going to go past someone.

"That's what happened for our goal and Nouha has the confidence to roll the centre-half, go past the keeper and produce an excellent finish."
