Wolves land ex-Chelsea starlet Conor Hunte

Wolves today confirmed a deal to sign highly-rated former Chelsea youngster Conor Hunte.

The 17-year-old has signed a contract join the Under-21s, after being released from Stamford Bridge in July 2013 following a disagreement.

He has been training with Wolves for some time. Liverpool and Manchester City were among those tracking the attacking midfielder, who signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Blues in January 2013.

Winning the 2011 Victory Shield for England Under-16s, Surrey-born Hunte made his debut for Chelsea's Under-18s as a 15-year-old in 2011-12 and made 36 appearances for their youth team, scoring seven goals.
