Wolves' 'Bomb Squad' put themselves in the shop window at AFC Telford United tonight - but were defused in a 1-1 draw.moreKevin Doyle's first-half opener was cancelled out by Steve Akrigg's equaliser after the break in a keenly-contested pre-season friendly.

The game began with Telford chasing shadows early on, with Doyle warming the fingers of Hedge from outside the area from Anthony Forde's short pass.

The £5million midfielder O'Hara was left red-faced after being robbed by Charlie Barnett on 16 minutes, goalkeeper Aaron McCarey acrobatically parrying his effort away.

But Telford looked like a non-league outfit on 21 minutes when they shipped one at the back to Doyle, who was given too much time to rifle past Hedge from Tongo Doumbia's pass.

Boukari went off and finished up in the stand on crutches after pulling his hamstring, marking the introduction of former Benfica youngster Eusebio.

Doyle fired wide again just before the break, after leaving Akrigg for dead to collect O'Hara's pass through the middle.

The Bucks fightback began after the break and they were back on terms on 68 minutes, when Telford-born defender Ben O'Hanlon bundled over Poku on the edge of the box.

Barnett's short delivery caught the Wolves back-line napping and Akrigg stole in to prod the ball past McCarey from close range.

It was nearly all Telford after the equaliser as they had chances to pull off a pre-season shock, McCarey coming to the rescue with six minutes to go.

Grogan muscled Ethan Ebanks-Landell off the ball in the box and squared to umarked fellow substitute Josh Hancock, the goalkeeper pushing his shot wide.

Wolves realised it wasn't going to be their night three minutes earlier when Liam McAlinden fluffed his lines in front of goal, Akrigg robbing the ball off his foot.
