O'Hara has repeated his willingness to take a cut in his seven-figure salary for the opportunity to end his Molineux misery.

Watch Wolves outcast Jamie O'Hara go through his paces in his search for a new club with this video.

The former Premier League midfielder has been cast aside by head coach Kenny Jackett in a new era at the club.

O'Hara didn't play for the first team last season but despite a trail of scouts watching him play Under 21 football failed to lure a deal from any.

He admits: "It was a bad season for me and it has been a bad time. I know I will look back at this making me stronger as a person. It's changed me as a person.

"The kids keep asking me 'When you going to play football, dad?' I tell them I will get a chance soon and show them."

O'Hara still has two years of his contract to run during which Wolves are committed to paying a salary still thought to be somewhere between £25,000 and £35,000 a week.

But Wolves have refused to back down in a tough stance with the high-earning players who have been declared surplus to requirements by Jackett.

The club has refused to settle on contracts or contribute to wages of players leaving on loan deals.

O'Hara's only interest came from Blackpool last season where he was invited for a brief trial. But he returned with the club's then manager Paul Ince insisting the player's wage demands made a deal impossible.

But O'Hara said today: "I love football – I just want to play."
