Video: Wolves players return to training

Wolves players returned to pre-season training for a range of fitness tests ahead of the new season.

Head coach Kenny Jackett said:" It's great to be back. By the time the World Cup started, you start to get your appetite for this season and really looking forward to it."

Fitness tests will be carried out all week to assess the players ahead of the Championship season.

Amazing , great video very informative, they all did a great job last season keeping the players fit.

never boo and never leave early

Excellent video!!

This coming season will be much more difficult in one way as we're playing against better and bigger teams/clubs than last season. Thankfully this season not all of the clubs we play will, I hope, see playing Wolves as a big scalp as was last season.

One thing is for certain the club is leaving nothing to chance in ensuring that the player's are match fit and then some.

Cannot wait for the season to start and what a great start it is!!

After watching insights like these videos it's easy to see why players like JoH are identified as having suspect fitness issues.

George Best used to smoke, drink and dodge training yet still turn up saturday morning and give a masterclass that afternoon. How times have changed, wonder how he'd have faired in todays game. Talent alone though is not enough anymore and sports science is becoming all important. Time, maybe, to look outside of football to keep Danni in the style she's become acustomed to Jamie ?

All the best for the new season lads, it's gonna be an exciting ride and looks like we'll be ready to hit the ground running.
