Took the words right out of my mouth UTW

Our turn to have the rub of the green. How on earth did the referee and his assistant miss that Stearman arm ball in the penalty area. In the end who cares? Tough luck Orient but we are (all but) Champions.

Carl Ikeme undoubtedly Man of the Match.

Now for 105 points.

Wolverhampton 44 30 9 5 85 30 +55 99

awesome, what a brilliant end to end game, just like rotherham , orient played their part and could have won or at least deserved a draw.

but as matt murray said it is fine lines that seperate winners from losers.

ikeme motm.

we move on to coventry, utw.

karlwolves

First half performance was great and yes we did ride our luck, think it was a definite penalty for Orient but never mind. The second half was very labored passing going astray and trying to walk the ball into the back of the net.Carl won man of the match by a country mile some fantastic saves to maintain our lead. The score line did not reflect the game and Orient will feel hard done by, but now we can watch the squad parade the trophy on the last game of the season, providing the idiots stay off the pitch. Well done to Kenny and the boys.

Another great win for Wolves, The only worry is that they seem to take there foot of the gas to early and allow teams the chance to get back into the game, but no complaints KJ & the boys have made me proud to be a WOLVES fan again and I can not wait for next season for the next instalment. COME ON ME BABBIES.

Doyler!

Awesome, bloody awesome! How can we not win the title now? Another magnificent display and result. Well done lads.

Tomwolf

Well done the lads, another 3pts nearer the league title. I thought the players worked tirelessly throughout the game. Everything seemed to involve McDonald, but we owe our resulst to a m.o.t.m performance by Carl Ikeme, what a giant of a performance he displayed. WELL DONE TO THE LADS: UTW:

Forgot to say that the fat lady will be singing at Molineux when we lift the trophy.

Silver Wolf

Enjoy these golden moments ..... old gold, of course!

Corfuwolves

Yes, I'm looking forward to hearing Moxey sing too!

No doubt that Ikeme was m.o.t.m. by a country mile, but having said that Wolves thoroughly deserved the victory. My reasoning for this is that the truly creative football was played by Wolves. They possessed the passing game , and fluid movement which is necessary to unlock defences, especially at a higher level. Orient's goal threat, for all its frequency, tended to come from old fashioned long balls and crosses for their considerable heading ability.---------Yes, there were times when we struggled to cope with this, but more often Orient failed to cope with our fitness levels, and our pace on the break.---------- By the way, I thought Dicko's quick thinking headed pass to set up Sako for his goal was top drawer-------a brilliant assist!

MK Dons just pulled one back against Brentford.

One more and the league is ours today.

Stearmans overhead kick

We are Champions 1 Wolves ,Mk dons have just got another and the game as ended 2-2.

ManhattanWolf

By all accounts we were lucky today. We were due some luck, anyway, so it all evens out. I'm sure KJ will have identified weaknesses and is already planning on fixing them for next year. Hope we can break the League 1 points record with wins against Coventry and/or Carlisle.

MK Dons just scored

ELDERVO

Div 1 champions, best wishes to Kenny and the lads. Ikeme player of the year for me.

Too many records to list and can't see anyone stopping us getting 105 points now.

.....MAGNIFICENT.

How refreshing to see some Premiership-type play: passing along the ground, passing out of trouble from defence. Trapping a high ball and finding a man in the same colour shirt. Gone is the McMuppet hoof, head and hope of yesteryear. Defence a lot better but still requires some work for the Championship and beyond.

Well done Mr Jackett and all the players. Still not convinced about Clarke though. Even for the short time he was playing he ambled around the pitch like next week would do.

Wolfman

Wolves Champions and them up the road relegated (?)........interesting year next year.

Mountain Wolf

I think our distant cousins will cling on by the skin of their dentures so we won't be seeing them next year.

Mountain. As much as it hurts to say. I have to agree with you.

Stearmans overhead kick

Well done Champion ,Well deserved ! Yeah! Ikeme man of the match for me followed close by the ref and is assistant for not seeing the penalty, Some good end to end stuff, And nice to see we didn't lie down when they got their goal after another dopey ten minutes before and after half time of Obvious to see though that when either team kept possession better the more they bossed the game.

Great result at Leyton Orient.

As stated above Ikeme was brilliant as were the back four.

Good game to witness and so proud of the end result.

Thank you Wolves for restoring faith in this wonderful club.

Good teamwork and work ethic has paid off.

Thank you Kenny Jackett you have done a cracking job in exemplary fashion.

So proud and happy for everyone connected with making this season so memorable for our wonderful patient fans.

We are Wolves and this is our club ! X

FAO ROWLEYWOLF:

relegation to league one will be a positive step

A chance to get rid of the deadwood and big time charlies and rebuild through a combination of the youth system and signing quality players from league one and the championship

WHAT YA SAYIN NOW?!!!!

CLASS ON THE GRASS! WELL DONE EVERYONE AT WOLVES

AucklandKiwiWolf

I watched the game live early in the morning here.Well done Wolves though we were very fortunate but Wolves are Champions!

Ye Olde South Bank

Okay, we got a bit lucky with the Stearman handball, but Orient's disallowed effort was clearly offside, so that's that. Besides, as others have said, we were overdue some good fortune. let's remember that Orient got their lucky break at Molineux when they could easily have been 3 or 4-0 down, but took a slightly fortunate point in the end. So, some you win, some you lose. The only stats that matter say:

Three goals away from home. Another three points for Wanderers. Championship title pocketed. Job done.

Congratulations to everyone at Wolves great team effort as an added bonus here in New Zealand a sports channel are showing the match this pmso I can see my beloved Wolves in action

Alan in Cyprus

Saw the game in our local beach-side taverna, we will have to play much better than this to survive in the Championship. Mr Morgan - get your cheque book out, don't make the same mistakes again. Well done everyone, live for today, tomorrow the hard work starts.

wolves 4 ever

Just read carl ikeme on the wolves fc site, hes so modest but I agree with what he said about his fellow defenders, maybe the team did have a little luck Monday, but they deserved the win again. After the game it was a good feeling to be able to say the whole squad at this level is brilliant, you don't have to worry if the regular scorers go a few games without a goal, because anybody in the current side is capable of a goal,I cannot see one weak link, I don't think I could say that about any team in the 60 yrs Ive have followed Wolves never felt so proud to be a Wolves fan and what a building block to build future teams on WELL DONE everybody at the MOLINEAUX.And on the plus side as well its kept everybodies favourite W B A fan JACK THE HAT QUIET that's an achievement in its self.
