Former Wolves boss Stale Solbakken today insisted facing Steve Morgan is scarier than playing Real Madrid.

moreThe Copenhagen boss faces Madrid in the Champions League tonight after being sacked by Molineux chairman Morgan in January.

Solbakken was axed after just six months in charge at Molineux after they were dumped out of the FA Cup by non-league Luton.

And the Norwegian insisted working under Morgan is worse than playing the nine-time European Champions in the Bernabeu.

"Try managing Wolves with Steve Morgan in charge," said Solbakken, who has been at Copenhagen for just six weeks.

"There is no way beating Real Madrid in their own backyard can be as hard as that.

"Of course, it is a bit scary – but I'm really looking forward to it. Obviously we need points away from home, and it is just possible that we could give Madrid a fright.

"It will be difficult to keep up with the speed and momentum of the game – we saw that against Juventus after 45 minutes."
