A minute’s applause will be held to honour Wolves legend Peter Broadbent, who has died at the age of 80.
The tribute will take place at Molineux before the next home match, the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy visit of Notts County next Tuesday (7.45pm).
The following day, his funeral will be held at St Peter’s Collegiate Church, St Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton at 1.45pm.
Rev David Wright, who is also Wolves chaplain, will conduct the service.
Flowers have been gathering at Molineux and flags have been flown at half mast following the death of Mr Broadbent yesterday, who had suffered Alzheimer’s Disease for many years.
Mr Broadbent became the third former Wolves player to pass away in recent weeks after the deaths of Dave Wagstaffe and Barry Stobart, whose funerals were also held at St Peter’s.
