Kenny Jackett is named new Wolves boss
Wolves have confirmed the appointment of former Swansea and Millwall manager Kenny Jackett as their first head coach.
moreThe 51-year-old replaces Dean Saunders, who was sacked 24 days ago following the club's relegation to League One.
Jackett, who will be unveiled at a press conference on Monday, said: "I am both proud and delighted to have been appointed head coach at Wolves, and am really looking forward to the challenge ahead."
The former Watford player was the first man to be interviewed for the post following Saunders' departure but he has had to wait to be offered the job.
Wolves considered several other candidates including former Bolton and Burnley boss Owen Coyle, ex-England manager Steve McClaren and Crewe chief Steve Davis.

As a player, Jackett helped Watford to a second-place top flight finish and an FA Cup Final appearance.
He also won 31 caps for Wales.
As a coach he helped former Wolves and England boss Graham Taylor win Watford win promotion to the Premier League before taking charge of Swansea and leading the Welsh club into League One.
He spent six years at Millwall, where he guided the Lions to promotion into the Championship and to an FA Cup semi final against Wigan this season.
