Wolves were celebrating this afternoon after winning their appeal against Christophe Berra’s red card at Watford.
The club submitted video evidence supporting their case, which was heard before an FA panel earlier today, and the game’s governing body ruled Oxfordshire referee Graham Scott made a mistake in sending the player off.
Berra was dismissed for tussling with Hornets striker Troy Deeney in the 25th minute in the game, which Wolves lost 2-1.
The Scotland international had been facing a one-match ban, but the 27-year-old will now be available for Saturday’s visit of Nottingham Forest.
The previous time Wolves lodged an appeal, Nenad Milijas’ red card against Arsenal last December, they lost.
