Although Wolves will be playing in the championship this season travelling to Elland Road for their first fixture against Leeds United, fans can expect to see the mighty new stand in all its glory on Tuesday, August 21, when they play Barnsley at Molineux.
Brickwork on the outer shell is almost finished and 7,700 seats within the new North Bank, visible from Wolverhampton ring road, have been completed, with Wolves displayed in black and new gold seats replacing temporary black ones.
Wolves recently announced that the new Stan Cullis stand will house home fans only, increasing the grounds capacity from 28,000 to 31,700.
Wolves have stressed that they are still eager to continue with the £40 million pound three-sided redevelopment of Molineux. But relegated from the premier league, their ambitions may prove to be a long term goal.
