Robert I have said my thanks to Mick also.
In relation to team spirit 95% of teams claim team spirit!
Most Managers and players always say “We have great team spirit within the team”.
NOTHING NEW.

let this mick thing go ,remember where we are in the league and we dont play good football. All the players need to look at thierselves,we need also a new captain we leadership qualities not a bottler.

Yeah pity he didn’t bring a defence & a few clean sheets. Not to mention a midfield who can actually pick a pass & move. And i won’t even start on the scouting network! Stick to the music Robert. It’s what you do best mate.

If only team spirit alone was enough to keep you up in the Premiere League. We all know however that it is not and that tactics, nous and having quality players are just a few other attributes needed.
Only problem now is that the managers we are looking at are not the best.
Mybe we should take a chance with a young and hungry manager like Lee Clark

Every dog has it’s day, goes the old cliche, and every football manager has a shelf life, unless your Sir Alex.
Mick’s time had come to an end. Whether it’s because he was out of his depth in the Premiership, as some suggest, time may just tell us if he brings another club up sometime in the future.
There have been many offers of advice on these boards. Which players, players best positions, transfers, tactics, substitutions……. nothing has been missed. Some have been sensible, some half-baked, some quite laughable, but, everyone has their own opinion. That’s one of the attractions of this wonderful game of ours.
We must NEVER forget what Mick acheived in the six years following the awful Hoddle period and his unforgivable walk-out. He galvanised limited resources and took us into the Premieship within three years. Just think back to the managers who failed to do that, and spent a lot of money failing !
He also created something that was to become of paramount importance and could be seen almost to the end (Spurs and Arsenal away)
Team spirit. It was pretty clear most of the players loved the man. There were exceptions but, very few of importance.(hello Freddie, how’s the career going ?)
I totally agree with Don Goodman, Mick did not deserve the abuse he received at the end. Those mindless morons who probably have difficulty dressing on their own in the mornings and stayed behind after the Albion debacle to spit their venom. they have short memories and should be thoroughly ashamed of them selves. They were probably in the same wretched bunch that spat at Sir Jack a few years ago.
Thanks Mick for what you did for my Club I shall applaud you next time you grace Molineux.
Now it’s time for both of us to move on.
