Adlene Guedioura joins Nottingham Forest on loan

Wolves midfielder Adlene Guedioura has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Algerian international goes into the frame for selection when Forest take on Burnley tomorrow night.

Guedioura joined Wolves on loan from Belgian club RSC Charleroi in the 2010 January transfer window, before sealing a permanent deal.

His Wolves appearances were limited after he broke his left leg against Villa in September 2010 and did not return to training until last March.

Under Mick McCarthy this term, he has made four league and cup starts this season, plus nine substitute appearances.

We are officially a joke club – no ambition, clueless manager (and an owner who’s scared of him). Vokes shipped out, Adlene shipped out, nobody on the horizon coming in. Championship here we come. And I’m not one of the usual rabid anti MM crowd, before you ask.

This has got to be the worst decission ever.
This player has been left on the bench all season when he has greater prescence and ability than Carl Henry. This is a mistake and may well prove costly. Carl Henry is a liability as he proved just over a week ago.

Excellent news. With Ikeme on loan at Doncaster, Vokes at Brighton, Rekord at Scunthorpe, Batth at Sheff Wed, Griffiths at Hibs, Hemmings at Plymouth, Mendez-Laing at Sheff Utd, (not forgetting Mouyokolo on his season long loan) and now Guedioura off the wage books, we can subsidise Keogh, Kightly and Frimpong and still be quids in.

The financial management of this club is something that once again makes me proud to support the club. Forget about onwards and upwards in the league – any fool could do that. Me, I want to be at the open top bus parade when we win the most financially secure team of the year award from Accountancy Age.

What are they playing at… must have someone lined up… thin on the ground in midfield and another one walks away from the club! Days are obviously numbered!

Good Luck Adlene… always thought you were good for a place on the bench at the very least… and an absolute hammer shot!

Having been one of the more anti-Mick brigade for some time, I was starting to think he was doing the best with the tools he was given (clipboard being the biggest tool of all) and it was Moxey and Mr Morgan holding the club back.

But off the back of this news – there better be a bloody good set of signing’s tomorrow !!!!!!

ALTHOUGH off down the bookies to get my money on a Forest win against Burnley (every cloud….) :) .

well that takes any creativity out of the midfield- does anyone know what they are doing at Molineaux?

If we get anything out of tomorrows game it will be a miracle. We have nothing moving forward and Fletcher is too often left isolated on his own upfront.

Take what we can for Doyle, and S.hunt as both are seriously underperforming and are not worthy of the shirt.

I thought football was a business, well we are doing none. The only result will be relegation from the Prem…. Maybe this is what those upstairs want. Its a JOKE!

Ridiculous. Let’s face it, Stephen Ward’s started more games in his position so what chance does he have? Guedioura and Hammill just haven’t had a look in this season. Good luck at Forest ‘Addy’.

Despite the usual rhetoric being spouted by Moxey about the £4.5 mill warchest we are still lacking a quality specialist LB the defence is where the majority of our problems are,I would play Zubar as CB in place of Berra as this was his prefered position.

Henry out for 3 games, O’Hara still unfit, Frimpong unfit so this makes perfect sense, albeit only to McCarthy.
So for the foreseeable future our midfield is Milijas ,Edwards and Jonsson. Liverpool must be holding emergency meetings as we speak !
Do not be surprised to see our championship full backs both playing in midfield…you could’nt make it up.

Well he needs games after coming back from his broken leg and he won’t be getting them at Wolves so a loan move sounds sensible. Kightly benefited greatly from playing at Watford so the same applies to Guedioura. We have plenty of midfield cover, makes sense to me.

whether your pro or anti the 3Ms, what would have given all the fans a big lift would have been for us to make a major signing or two of a quality player/s who could make an impact.
I dont think the club have really “put a shift in” to get a deal done and we wont see anyone come in apart from maybe that free agent fotheringham or another championship or scottish player that no one has heard of. I hope im wrong.
I dont for one minute believe that that good players arent out there as Wigan,QPR, bolton are managing to find and land their targets. Are you saying that Wigan and Bolton have deeper pockets than us??
If we dont have the funds then we should have considered selling Doyle, hunt, stearman, miljas,SEB to get the funds.
That is what a good manager does. Remember rednapp let crouch, jenas and hutton go to bring in adebayor and parker.
And no mick selling good players like doyle to bring in more consistent players like davies, kenywn jones does not send out the wrong message

Guedioura was cheap January signing who hasnt made much impact in the team, and for the record his shooting is awful. Yes he had a serious injury and it hasnt helped that he has never been given a run in the team but a loan out is a good move.
Vokes is a championship striker and I think we should have let him last summer along with keogh and elokobi.

Nice to see we are letting are better players go :/ still think we should keep hold of Doyle as he holds the ball up well even if he is not scoring at the moment I do think it is a confidence issue and he still is a quality player !

Pathetic!! All Mr Morgan is interested in is his property empire. Think of all the work already created via the old Tarmac building up the road from Molineux, new stand and millions of pounds of houses at Compton. Mr Morgan you are taking us for a ride and its about time you came out along with your sidekick Moxey and gave us fans some answers.

Would like to echo the sentiments of some previous comments and wish the player well. Not 100 per cent convinced he has the talent and skill for the highest level but, who knows, a run of games may be just the trick. I don’t happen to think it’s the worst move ever. The Wigan game proved earlier this season that he may not be quite good enough and I haven’t seen anything to prove otherwise since.

Comment 3 – Can’t agree about Karl Henry (correct spelling). Silly boy against Villa but I think he offers a lot more than Guedioura. Different players in different roles.
