Ronald Zubar ruled out for a month by Wolves with a knee injury
Friday 30th December 2011, 1:00PM GMT.
Wolves defender Ronald Zubar was today ruled out for a month with a knee injury.
Zubar was injured in a touchline challenge with Gervinho in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Arsenal.
The Frenchman underwent a scan in London after the game and is now recovering from an injury to a ligament in his knee.
Manager Mick McCarthy said: “He’s injured – he’s going to be out for a month. They are saying four to six weeks but hopefully it will be three.
“They may be able to inject it to help speed it up.”
Richard Stearman is set to replace Zubar at right-back. Fit-again Kevin Foley and David Edwards are in the squad to travel to Bolton tomorrow.
