Karl Henry urges Wolves to ‘keep the back door’ shut on the road

Karl Henry today urged Wolves to “keep the back door shut” to ease their travel sickness.

Wolves now hit the road for away games at Arsenal and Bolton after taking one point from six at home against Stoke and Norwich, with whom they drew 2-2  on Tuesday night.

Last night’s results dropped Wolves to 17th and just a point clear of the relegation zone.

Wolves have kept just two clean sheets all season in the Premier League and lost their last six away games, in which they have scored four and conceded 16.

They have just four points from 24 on their travels in 2011-12 and Henry said: “We’ve got to keep the back door shut when we’re attacking.

“There’s no doubt there was only one team going to win against Norwich in the second-half, but to get hit with that sucker punch and go 2-1 down, we can’t allow it to happen.

“I think we’re exhausted. We’ve had two really tough games in three days and we created so many chances.”
