WOLVES
As reported by the Express & Star yesterday, Mick McCarthy has given a hands off warning over Steven Fletcher, a rumoured Liverpool target.
Wolves and Stoke City are interested in Wigan Athletic midfielder Mohamed Diame.
WEST BROM
Rangers and Celtic may try to secure the services of Scott Allan, after West Bromwich Albion reportedly agreed a fee, thought to be in excess of £400,000, for the Dundee United player to join them in January.
Roy Hodgson is lining up a January swoop for Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha, who has made just two appearances for Roberto Mancini’s side this term.
West Brom defender Jonas Olsson apparently has reservations about extending his contract despite starting talks over a new deal.
ASTON VILLA
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports linking David Villa with a move to either Liverpool, Chelsea or Aston Villa in January. Don’t expect this one to run and run!
BIRMINGHAM
Blues midfielder Mark Yates is hoping to twist Chris Hughton’s arm to re-sign goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan from Cheltenham Town.
WALSALL
