Ronald Zubar: I’m ready for Wolves return
Wednesday 23rd November 2011, 12:30PM GMT.
Wolves right-back Ronald Zubar today insisted he is ready to take his chance if it comes at Chelsea on Saturday.
Manager Mick McCarthy has earmarked the French defender to replace broken-wrist victim Richard Stearman at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Zubar came through his comeback, following the recurrence of his groin injury, in the reserves’ 0-0 draw with Arsenal last night at AFC Telford, playing the first 45 minutes. And despite not playing competitively since February, the 26-year-old insisted he is ready for the challenge.
“I’ve been training for a couple of weeks now without any problems so I can say to the gaffer that I’m ready.”
