Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Wayne Jones welcomed by Wolves
Saturday 12th November 2011, 6:00AM GMT.
Wolverhampton’s Wayne Jones is looking to take a leaf out of Wolves’ book at the Grand Slam of Darts after his beloved club threw their support behind him.
Jones, a life-long Wolves fanatic, was invited to the club’s Compton training ground this week to meet players Matt Jarvis and Kevin Foley.
Wolves have been lifted by a vital Premier League win last weekend and Jones will be looking to do the same at Wolverhampton Civic Hall tonight.
Like Wolves before the Wigan game, Jones needs a win as he steps up to the oche after three straight defeats on TV, the last two in the first round.
But ‘the Wanderer’ has been inspired by Wolves’ winning feeling as he prepares for his own ‘home game’ against Brendan Dolan.
He said: “Wolves needed a bit of luck and so do I, you can practice and plan but all that counts is what happens when you get there.
“Hopefully, it will be a good night. I could do with something to kick off my season, so another home win this weekend would be nice!
“The crowd puts just as much pressure on me, because they all expect me to win, so it’s probably just as bad for me as it will be for Brendan.
“I am a strong believer in fate and the first game is so important, if you don’t win it you are under massive pressure to win the second one.
“I don’t care if it’s a bad win, as long as I get those two points and get my tournament underway.”
