Adlene Guedioura hopes first Wolves start of season is ‘first of many’
Monday 31st October 2011, 3:30PM GMT.
Wolves midfielder Adlene Guedioura is hoping his Premier League start at Manchester City is the first of many this season.
The Algeria international came in as boss Mick McCarthy switched to five in midfield and the 25-year-old had a positive impact, his shot leading to the penalty scored by Stephen Hunt that made it 2-1 before Wolves lost 3-1.
Guedioura said: “I was happy with starting the game. I feel fit and sharp. Hopefully, it will be the first of many starts.
“We did our best but Man City were better than us in taking their chances. But there were some good performances and we showed some good things.”
