Kevin Doyle believes Wolves can win at Manchester City
Friday 28th October 2011, 2:00PM BST.
Kevin Doyle today insisted Wolves could be the team to shock Manchester City.
The world’s richest club are five points clear at the top of the Premier League having rattled in 45 goals already this season, including 11 in the last two games against champions Manchester United and Wolves.
City have dropped just two points all season while Wolves have not won in seven Premier League games.
But Doyle reckons Mick McCarthy’s side – beaten 5-2 by City’s ‘second string’ in the Carling Cup on Wednesday, can pull off a shock result after beating City 2-1 at home last season.
He said: “Why not go to Man City and get something? Somebody probably will at some stage and they’ll be on the end of an upset during the season, so why not us?”
