Kevin Doyle believes Wolves’ luck may have turned after Swansea point
Monday 24th October 2011, 10:55AM BST.
Kevin Doyle today insisted Wolves’ dramatic comeback against Swansea could turn their season.
Doyle scored the first goal and set up the second, as Mick McCarthy’s side ended a run of five straight defeats with two goals in the last six minutes to draw 2-2.
Wolves now face Manchester United’s 6-1 conquerors Manchester City twice this week, starting with Wednesday’s Carling Cup fourth round tie at Molineux.
But, despite the daunting size of their task, Doyle reckons their fortunes could start looking up.
He said: “It’s a big lift, and we’re hoping it will be a turning point. It’s probably the most enjoyable comeback I’ve had at Wolves and could be the most important.”
