James McFadden signs for Everton

Wolves target James McFadden has snubbed their advances to sign for Everton.
The 28-year-old free agent has passed a medical at Everton’s Finch Farm training ground and signed a deal until the end of the season.
McFadden chose the Toffees, where he played for five years after leaving Motherwell for £1.25million in 2003, ahead of offers from Wolves and Celtic.
Manager Mick McCarthy revealed on Friday that Wolves had made their “best offer” for the former Birmingham forward, who ended a two-week training stint at Compton a fortnight ago to go to Parkhead.
