Michael Kightly looks to shine again
Wednesday 12th October 2011, 11:30AM BST.
Michael Kightly today vowed to shine on loan for Watford so he can return to the Premier League with Wolves.
The 25-year-old winger signed on loan for the Championship side yesterday until November 19.
The former England under-21 international is reunited with former Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo, who is yet to get off the mark despite seven appearances at Vicarage Road since his summer arrival from Burnley.
The duo played key roles in Wolves’ Championship title-winning season of 2008-09.
With Watford playing seven matches in his loan spell, Kightly is eager to get some games and, at the same time, help his old team-mate prosper.
He said: “I’m looking forward to re-booting my career at Watford. I had a good relationship with Chris at Wolves and we played well together. Hopefully I can create some goals for him.”
