Mick McCarthy: It’s time to deliver points

Mick McCarthy today challenged Wolves to start delivering as he admits Saturday’s visit of Newcastle is the first “pressure point” of the season.
Three successive defeats in the Premier League have left the Molineux boss under the spotlight to arrest his team’s mini-slide.
And as Wolves prepare for their last game before another international break, boss McCarthy accepts points are a priority.
“There’s always pressure to get good results at home, but it’s become more important because we’ve lost three on the bounce,” said the boss. “It’s time to get some points.”
