Kevin Doyle targets a double celebration

Kevin Doyle has targeted a double Wolves celebration this weekend – a win against Newcastle to go with his bumper new contract.
Wolves announced the £6.5m striker had signed a four-year deal yesterday and the Ireland international is keen to round off a milestone week on a positive note by ending a three-match losing run when the Magpies are at Molineux on Saturday.
“The main thing we want to do is get back to good form against Newcastle,” said Doyle. “A lot of people, including myself, haven’t been happy about our last two performances and want to improve against Newcastle.
“We had a great start to the season with the first three games, but haven’t picked up any points since. Now it’s just about going out and getting a result and starting off my new contract with a bang.”

What a strange two weeks it has been since our last game. I haven’t looked over my neighbour’s fence with as much interest since Pamela Anderson moved in next door and regularly used her trampoline, writes Albion blogger Jarrod Hill.
