Stefan Maierhofer seeks Wolves talks
Monday 18th July 2011, 2:00PM BST.
Forgotten Wolves striker Stefan Maierhofer wants to discuss his future with manager Mick McCarthy.
The giant Austrian forward, who has a year left on his contract, is available for around £1.3million.
But Maierhofer, who missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Crewe with a foot injury, is keeping his options open.
He said: “I have some offers, but it’s too early to say what will happen. If Wolverhampton don’t want me anymore, they have to tell me.
“At the moment, there’s still no indication that’s the case. I’ll look to hold a conversation with McCarthy with regards my future.
“I can’t answer where I’ll be next season.”
