Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is back for Wolves cup match
Saturday 29th January 2011, 11:27AM GMT.
Striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is back in contention for tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth-round tie against Stoke after recovering from a hamstring strain.
The former Plymouth striker has been out since picking up the injury in the 1-0 win over champions Chelsea earlier this month.
“Sylvan should be fit to be in the squad – he trained yesterday,” said boss Mick McCarthy.
“I want to see how he comes through training first.
“He looked sharp before his injury and he wasn’t anywhere near that sharpness when he trained with us yesterday morning.
“But he was terrific just before he got injured.”
McCarthy has a defensive headache with Jody Craddock, Steven Mouyokolo and George Elokobi all available after coming through Tuesday’s reserve game against Albion.
Kevin Foley (ankle) did the warm-up yesterday and he might train next week.
* Wolves have relaxed the all-ticket restriction for tomorrow’s match.
Cash admission will be available on all turnstiles apart from the Steve Bull Stand upper tier.
Fans are advised that access to Molineux Street and Camp Street will be restricted after the game.
