Mick McCarthy still backing Wolves
Monday 27th December 2010, 11:30AM GMT.
Defiant boss Mick McCarthy today insisted beleaguered Wolves will win their Premier League survival battle.
But McCarthy admitted his side were “not good enough” as they blew a big chance by losing 2-1 at home to relegation rivals Wigan.
“The defending for both goals was really poor and we’re not good enough, tough enough or experienced enough that we can come back from two goals down early on,” said the manager.
And Wolves barely needed reminding that the only team in the 19-year history of the Premier League to stay up after being bottom at Christmas was Albion in 2005.
Yesterday’s setback was greeted by boos at half-time and full-time, as well as a mass walkout before substitute Steven Fletcher provided what turned out to be false hope with an 87th-minute consolation.
But McCarthy believes there is still time to turn things around despite facing back-to-back trips to Liverpool and West Ham before hosting champions Chelsea.
“My confidence doesn’t get knocked as easily now and I’m not going to let one performance change it,” said the boss, who insisted he will go all-out to win at Liverpool on Wednesday.
But, asked about the psychological effect on the players of being bottom of the table, McCarthy admitted he is concerned.
“I don’t know,” he said. “We’ll have to see how that affects us all but we need points and will have to try to win at Liverpool.”
And McCarthy admitted his players blew a big chance. “That was an opportunity because we could have won and been looking down at the teams below us,” he said. “But there are plenty of games left and who’s to say we can’t go and win at Liverpool? Liverpool didn’t play yesterday so they’ll have had extra time to prepare, but we’ll see if that’s an advantage. We’ll go there and try to win it.”
McCarthy added: “There’s only one way left for us to go now with where we are and the games we’ve got remaining and that is up.
“We didn’t have a good day yesterday, but I don’t know how we would have played if we’d not gone 1-0 behind after nine minutes.”
“We’ll have to play a lot better than we did yesterday.”

its ok saying we wernt good enough mick but the buck stops with you. as a wolves fan for over 35 years i do feel its time for a management change. as i feel the same as every other wolves fan out there the buck stops with management so YOU YES YOU MICK McCarthy you should do the right thing and walk away from this massive club and let someone with some premership managerial experence take over before its too late and we end up back in the championship………..

He lives in cloud cookoo land does he not know that he and clip board who pick the team. He doesn’t pick his best players or play thenm in there best positions. Question why tactically does he tell them to give the ball to the opposition from the kick off?
so they can score a goal….IE pass the ball back to the goallie and let him boot it up field. He wonders why we concede goals in the first few minutes.. But I’m a numpty so what does that make the dynamic duo???

Happy Clapper here, just to say, don’t worry everyone, Wolves will not go down, not while Mick ‘Merlin’ McCarthy is in charge.
It was only another match lost and we can lose plenty more before the season’s over but no need to worry. We can beat Liverpool, West Ham and Chelsea and then we will all be smiling and happy clappers together.
Have a nice day now!

MM must be bipolar if he thinks we can stay up!!!
If he had an ounce of honour he’d sack Connor and the resign.
The stat show that he is the worst Prem manager ever.
If he doesn’t resign Morgan should sack him.

Yes we were not good enough and not for the first time either. Not much more to say other than we are the worst team in the Premier league this season.

Mick,Wolves will NOT SURVIVE so long as you remain in charge,It is YOU that is not good enough,Played 84 won 15 drawn 18 lost 51 shows your ability at the top level. How on earth could you prefer a £100000 striker(come left back, central midfielder,left/right sided midfielder)who has not scored a goal in 4 seasons above a SEVEN MILLION pounds striker who has scored 5 this season.Only you thinks Foley can play in midfield, only you thinks Ward and Elokobi are premiership Left backs, only you can spend £38 million but play only 3 against Wigan,Finally only YOU could have dreamed that fantastic tactical decision to play the ball straight back to the goalie on kickoff,(who boots it straight to the opposition).
No MICK accept it it is YOU who is out of his depth.

Mr. Morgan. Please be aware that at least six of us in the North Bank are talking of not renewing their season tickets next year. If you are adamant about sticking with Mick then please don’t give him anymore money to spend. It’s just embarrasing!

The bottom line is that we are in serious danger of being relegated, after another poor result against one of our relegation rivals.
The biggest problem we’ve got is Morgan will not sack McCarthy, because Moxey will talk him out of it.
No decent players will want to come to a team that are rock bottom in January.
With all this in mind we will be playing in the Championship next season.

Let’s look on the Brightside.
We WILL BE RELEGATED!
BUT
New young Manager MAY be signed.
WE WILL SELL –
SEB, Doyle, Fletcher, Jarvis, Zubar, Hunt and have millions in the bank!
The BOARD will then give it to MM to SQUANDER ONCE AGAIN!!
After all the sacrifices a lot of us supporters make to buy season tickets, we get rewarded by the likes of the pathetic performance against a team that WILL ALSO be RELEGATED.
Following our relegation I for one, will not renew my season ticket as the club will inevitably put up prices and tell us that we are getting more games for our money!!
The BOARD HAVE NO STOMACH FOR SACKING ANYONE.
Just wondering how players like Jarvis, Fletcher and Jones feel about not getting into the team behind Ward, Foley and Edwards?
Why would anyone give MM money in January as he will spend it badly and leave them on the bench anyway? SIDWELL??????????????
What the hell do we need a second rate player like Sidwell for – Oh yes – to go with all the other second rate players who started the game yesterday!!
Not good enough is the understatement of the year,an apology to all the fans that spent hard earned money to watch the dross served up yesterday would be more appropriate.
A completely out of touch Walter Mitty Manager who thinks we are not Championship bound says it all.
Dudley borm Sam Alladyce me thinks.
The first step for a recovering alcoholic is to recognize he has a problem. MM admits the team is not good enough so he has taken the first step – the next step is to accept that he is in charge and needs to take responsibility for the ongoing poor performance and step aside. His record at this level is criminal – better Managers with excellent records in this Division have been fired!!!
He berates fans who care about their team and not once apologizes to them for the consistently disappointing results. The least the fans expect is that the team can win most of its home matches and serve up some good entertainment in the process. Instead, they are treated to “work rate”, little creativity, very few shots on target, goals given up either early or late in the games.
The owner needs to take some action while there is still a chance that our season can be rescued.
Our only remaining hope is that we can get a couple of defenders in during the January window, all of our problems lie there.
Mick obviously doesn’t want to play out most expensive to date/leading goalscorer (Fletcher) so why not just sell him. The money from that sale plus the van damn money could be used to get in a decent couple of defenders. Alternatively, if we can’t sign permanent deals (who wants to go to a relegation favourite?) then just get a couple of expensive mercenaries in til the end of the season, which could be financed with the 2.5 million we got for Van Damn, it must be better than muddling through with championship players who will send us back to that level.
McCarthy added: “There’s only one way left for us to go now with where we are”… Mick’s most prophetic quote of the season.
I sat there yesterday, frozen to the core watching the shambles unfold. Note to Mr Morgan.. rather than give the manager millions to waste again in January donate it to charity rather than your competitors.
.. or better still remove the Premier league’s worst ever manager, get O’Neill in and give him the money.
.. or is it part of the plan to be relegated and become the new yo-yo boys??
If it is tell us now and I’ll spend my money somewhere else too.
Molineux was a grey place yesterday, the team and the fans are starting to resemble the manager. For the first time ever I failed to jump out of my seat when we scored.. It’s called apathy and it’s setting in.
McCarthy Out !!!
Well that must be the statement of the season, so far.
We need a leader and Captain on the field no not Craddock or Henry.
Foley is a very good player but never midfield so why persist? Edwards is a good player, but not in the way the team was set up, SEB/Doyle/ or Fletcher on their own will never work, when is Morgan going to tell him.
When is someone on the board going to put him and us out of his/our misery?
Would any of us give him any more money to spend on second rate/injured players, whatever you think of him and what he has done, it is here and now that matters.
If you were a good Premier player looking for a club would you come to Wolves at the moment, of course not, that is the issue for our survival, which may change if a new Manager is appointed quickly. SOS

Almost 40million spent since being promoted and we start with 7 players who were with us in the Championship ,more to the point the defence that started yesterday barr Zubar was the same that conceeded goal after goal in the Championship,McCarthys had 2 years to fix this and he has failed miserably.
I am begining to think that the management is not too bothered about being relegated because they have the problem of being without the Stan Cullis stand next year,so the capacity will be reduced to 20,000.Steve Morgan seems more interested in developing the stadium than developing the team BIG MISTAKE.

Ticket cost £20 (dues to early bird)
£70 before I even start every home game for Rubbish being shown, And I’m sure there are fellow fans out there in same boat.

McCarthy could give both himself and the Club a far better chance, were he to take a step back and adopt a more realistic assessment of his squads’ abilities than he currently seems to hold.
Wolves are unarguably one of the weakest squads in the division, with perhaps no more than 4-5 players of genuine up-to-scratch quality at this level.
As such, he needs to make it a given that when his best players are available, they will play as a matter of course, irrespective of how well stand-in players may have performed previously.
It hardly needs saying that his oft-criticised tendency to play individuals out of position needs to stop forthwith, other than in cases of extreme expediency.
And finally, given that we are now bottom of the league with the worst defensive record, I feel it is time to ditch any pretence of a cautious approach. Fletcher may have been over priced, but his goals per game ratio is perfectly respectable, and McCarthy needs to bury any misgivings and start playing him regularly, with either Sylvain (my own preference), or Doyle as an orthodox strike partnership. Doyle might conceivably be employed in a deeper role, but SEB and Fletcher are out and out forwards, and at the very least should be given time to cement a partnership which would at least cause problems for Championship defences next season.
In fact, if Doyle could be used to raise money or as a makeweight in a swap deal by which we could obtain either a solid Centre Half or Full Back (or both), I wouldn’t have any qualms about him departing.

I would like an explanation why were we so badly prepared for this match and yet the Wigan players looked sharp and fit.So the weather should not be an excuse. It was obvious that player after player was sluggish .Zubar’s touch was awful,Milijas in the first half was not interested. What preparation work was undertaken? Did they have Christmas day off? It was frankly a disgrace and very unprofessional.

No 12. MaltaWolves summed it up perfectly fo me. You can’t blame the players, if we were playing our best available team in their correct positions, I genuinely don’t think we’d have anything to worry about. but with this bl00dyminded muppet in charge, we’re in big trouble.
What is his obsession with Stephen Ward??!..he may train hard, but he’s simply lacking in enough ability at this level. Stephen Fletcher on the other hand is absolute quality in my opinion form what i have seen this season(with the exception of when he was still suffering form the virus the other week).
I fear we’re going to lose quality players like Fletcher because they’re simply not getting games, despite their productivity when they do play.
This team will win against a lot of teams in this division IMO. Doyle as back up striker.

The inability of the board to act and get a new manager in whilst there is still a chance of saving the season is shocking.
This is a results business, Mick McCarthy has had his chances, spent millions most of it wasted, his team selections and tactics have baffled most people this season.
It is now plain to see it is affecting the players who must be totally demoralised, it will be no points again this week and we will not move from the bottom of the league until we are relegated if we continue with Mick McCarthy.

Can anyone give me the answer to these questions please?
1. Does anyone know if the company contracted to build our new stadium is owned by Steve Morgan?
If yes, then this exercise to build a new stadium is just to line Morgan’s pockets because we don’t need a 40000 seater stadium, we can’t fill a 29000 stadium.
2. What is the real reason why McCarthy is still manager, because I haven’t heard a valid reason yet? NO OTHER MANAGER would still be in charge at ANY CLUB AT ANY LEVEL with the same record as Mick.
3. Why do we NEVER EVER see Moxey or Morgan interviewed on TV?
4. Why are the fans being treated so disrespectfully?
In my opinion this situation stinks of corruption. The word FIFA comes in to mind. It’s all about MONEY and always will be.
I will defiantly not be renewing mine and my son’s season ticket if Mick McCarthy is still in charge. It is so embarrassing to watch and be associated with this shambles. I can’t believe the sheer arrogance and ignorance of the hierarchy in charge. Unfortunately, whatever is written on these pages makes no difference what so ever, it’s just a means of letting off steam, which is a good thing.
I read these pages every day and it’s been the same old story for months now. I think we just need to accept that it’s all political and money motivated and we as fans have no influence at all. As long as Morgan has our money up front via a season ticket then nothing will change. It’s really sad to admit that the only way the fans can make a difference is not to purchase tickets therefore money doesn’t come in to the club. That will hit home, but we all know (including Moxey and Morgan) that this will never happen because us as fans love our club and always will no matter what.
I really hope that there are big changes soon because I want to watch Premiership football next season, but I feel it’s too late now because I can’t see where our next win is coming from if we stick with this set up.
Anyway, that it from me now, a very disheartened wolves fan

Mr. Morgan, if you keep Mick on, you’ll not only send out the message that you’re way too soft, but lacking ANY ambition as well. But McCarthy admitted his side were “not good enough” as they blew a big chance by losing 2-1 at home to relegation rivals Wigan…The head line should have read “mcarthy not good enough”…..you pick the team numpty so its down to you…Only a numpty would leave a 7 million pound striker on the bench and play a left back ( ward) in an attacking position. Then, move ward to left back, and substitue elokobi who was having a half decent game.Only a numpty makes these decisions.

MINES A PINT,
I am in total sympathy with you, as I suspect you are (with) Molly New. Never the less, what is to be done about this unholy mess the 3M´s have got us into?
Can we mount some fan pressure? It doesn´t seem that even if we did it would amount to much, following the JM statement that MM is the one to take us forward. It would therefore seem very clear to me that the 3rd M in the equation, doesn´t know (football wise) what is forward and what is backward. This of course fits perfectly for he is of course SM.
Best thing we can do is not buy a season ticket next season. Clearly the only things these M´s feel is what they´ve got in their pockets.

W 13 (23%)
D 14 (25%)
L 29 (52%)
F 51 (0.91%)
A 89 (1.59%)

Last season, like the rest of us, MM quickly realised we were not strong enough at the back to play 4-4-2. So we had to revert to 4-5-1. It worked, well done Mick.
So learning from our first season, you would assume signing a quality centre half to help Craddock and co. would be his top priority??
But no, he signs Fletcher for £7 million, knowing we have had to play with one up front all season.
So, by his own judgement, he buys Molyoko from a relegated team and a pretty much unknown waste of space left back to stiffen the defence! Both have proved shambolic signings.
And so here we are once again. Fletcher, like SEB last season, is victim to the ‘can’t trust the defence, let’s fill the midfield strategy’
Genius Mick!
Not signing a quality centre half has caused havoc.
£7mil on an established Premiership centre half, should of been our first priority. It would of had us mid table and would of released the talents of Fletcher, Doyle, Hunt and Jarvis alike.
Massive schoolboy error Mick.
Ive always had confidence in you, but with your signings, you have failed. (Im not going to mention tlast seasons Halford/Mienhoffer long throw stratagy that fell at the first hurdle)
For me we should break the door down for O’Neil and sign Curtis Davis without delay.

Imv I dont believe that Moxey will want MM out whatever happens! So theres no point bleating on about something that we have no control over
The bigger picture to Moxey is that MM has the keys and reigns to the club for as long as he wants the job – due to the belief that Moxey and Morgan have that MM will consistantly achieve promotion from the Chumpionship and MM is proven to be very good at getting clubs out of the Chumpionship on a shoe string budget!
As much as I dont like seeing the position that we are in and I dont believe MM has the capacity to achieve anymore than relegation battles in the Prem/ Relegation and promotion from the Chumpionship – short term is as much value that I can see MM has to offer
Big Sam Allardyce changed Bolton into a stable Prem club and was strangely sacked by Blackburns new owners and would imv be a far better bet than MM
But again, I dont believe that with our current CEO – that Mr Morgan will be pursuaded to let go of MM as I believe that Moxey prefers a very agreeable manager who wont make any waves and accept the ‘cheaper’ options dressed up as ‘young and hungry’ even the older players
The reality imv is that I suspect that the cheaper option players we pursue (salary etc) are based on how much of the clubs budget Moxey will allow MM to have and the more Moxey saves the bigger his bonus! No proof but I suspect/ suggest this has alot to do with it!
If we are to establish ourselves in the Prem Morgan imv would be far better seeking a CEO who has the vision of improving the footballing side of the club and the commercial side at the same time
Jez ‘Job done’ Moxey has imv has his own agenda first and the ‘young and hungry’ must be a God send – not to mention a very agreeable manager in MM
Just to put this thought out there to fellow Wolves fans – If we are really focussed on ‘young and hungry’ at Wolves – when was the last time a home grown player was brought through and how many of these players has MM consistantly used?
Fact is we buy in cheap and cheerfull and discard home grown Yet many of you out there bang on about this ‘young and hungry’ bs and even get sucked in by Mssr Moxey’s comments about not bankrupting the club
Ask yourselves this – Would 5 Prem proven players signed up for a season How would that bankrupt the club??? Blues are rumoured to be going in to loan Robbie Keane but we bleat on about his wages etc etc
Simply put – We have no ambition we want to do everything on a shoe string and occasssionally sign a player like Fletcher and Doyle to placate the fans whilst the rest of the team is filled with make shift Championship players that would get into a mid table Chumpionship team – On a personal note MM wouldnt know what to do with Prem Proven Quality and would more than likely wind them up with his lack of man management
My prediction is a Yo Yo club at best under MM with some highs and many lows under MM TC and Moxey combo
We hope for far far better
Hope you all had a great Christmas and look forward to a better New Year
Up the Wolves!

Not good enough eh! Well whose fault is that.
Are Ward, Elokobi, Berra, Stearman, really good enough to play at the top level? I don’t think so. We all knew that last season. So what did MM do? Buy a £6.5 million bench warmer. A left back be wouldn’t play who had a track record of being homesick. A untried centre half.
I think it is MM who is not good enough. The players try hard (although yesterdays performance was dire, second to everything)but are not goo enough.
Starting 11 was poor. What really winds me up is that he must watch a different game and never makes proactive substitutions. Why? because I do not think he really understands the game. He calls us muppets. Players who have played at the highest level do not necessarily make good managers. Equally, managers and pundits who have not played at the top level can still understand the game. Otherwise Mr Wenger wouldn’t be a top level manager.
Back to his substitutions, or lack of them. It was evident after 10 minutes that we were not competing in midfield. Milijas was not up for it and Foley is an average fullback. So what does he do? Nothing. Then he decides to take off Edwardes to bring on Jarvis. Surely it would have been better to take of Foley or Milijas and push Edwardes into the centre (and I’m no Edwardes fan, but at least 6 other players were playing worse. Then he takes off Elokobi to put on Fletcher. Why wait until the 70th minute as we had been losing for a very long time. Why take off Elokobi and not Ward.
I’ll tell you why. He has his favourites, doesn’t understand tactics and is not good enough.
I fear that nothing will be done. We will get relegated and spend another 10 years in the Championship. I don’t care for Alardyce, even though he has an okay rep. He wont come to Wolves because the Board will not back him with any funds. Anyone who thinks O’Neil will come is delusional. Who does that leave? Someone cheap, mark my words. The owner and Board are not ambitious. I applaud their attitude to keeping us in a relatively good financial position but if we want quality players then we ultimately have to pay the market value. Look at Stoke and Birmingham. They take players that would do us a good job but their wages scare us.
Everyone better get ready for a long stint in Championship.

bla bla bla. its the same old drivel mccarthy pumps out week in week out. it dont take a rocket scientist to work out that YOU mick are the main reason we are in the position we are with your magical team selection week in week out. have,nt you worked it out yet? jarvis, fletcher jones on the bench.why? YOU have brought these players to make wolves a better team and yet you play the CHAMPIONSHIP players i.e. stearman(awful),elokobi(awful), edwards(awful) i could go on. i could play better my self. you are making a rod for your own back and mark my words mad mick the gold & black army have lost faith in you and i think after the liverpool & west ham game if we get no points out of these 2 games so will the board . work it out mick newcastle sack hughton who did an amazing job there also blackburn sack big sam who also did a great job there. like i said it dont take a rocket scientist does it. you WILL be the next manager in the premier leauge to get the boot unless liverpool & west ham dont turn up. so lets hope for your sake and your employment at wolverhampton wanderers they dont or its ta ta mick. ive got to be honest if wolves do get any kind of result at either of the 2 games coming up then mad mick will be talking about europe ha ha. i agree with no.1 broken record comes to mind. We’re doomed aren’t we. Who would want to join us? Lescott, Keane, don’t make me laugh. Why would we want Sidwell, ace underachiever and the bloke who broke Guedioura’s leg!!!
I can’t see where we are going with our team of triers, where is the skill, someone at the back who doesn’t always want to play the easy ball. Oh yes and I quite agree what team punts the ball to the goalie on kick off?
We may not be talented but why are we not making tackles and challenging. Wigan are not a physical team but they were in our faces every second.
We couldn’t play 442 and now we can with Ward over Fletcher as a striker.
Arrrgggghhhh………..

Sorry Mick, Big Sam would at least have more chance of keeping us up. All this weird changing positions of players etc……… has now seen us bottom of the table. No excuses.
Steve Morgan, are you running this club or not?? We hardly hear anything from you and surely if you have bought a football club you have an interest what happens on the field?? Are you even watching the games?? If so do you sit there and agree and have faith in the managers decisions, bearing mind he spent £7 million on a player he……….hardly ever plays. If you give him more money in January instead of appointing a manager like Big Sam and give him the funds instead, MORE FOOL YOU!!!
Its not show friends its show business Steve, whether you get on personally with a manager behind the scenes matters not. Its results.
There are a load of season ticket renewals at stake here. I think what Mick has done for Wolves is great. There is a limit to everyones skill set however and his level is not Premiership. It can’t be.

One true attacker at home against Wigan, says it all. MM has sadly no solution to our woeful position and woeful team except to sadly take every wrong option possible. I am sure he is a good man but at this level he has no answers. The next question will changing the manager help? It is debateable if it will, as sadly the new manager will inherit the same players. What may happen however is that the new manager may play our best players in theire rightful positions and who knows…. surely this is not rocket science and hopefully against Liverpool MM will play a team that will have a chance of playing and winning with a positive team spirit and selection. Then again pigs may fly!
O’Neil, Alladyse to be honest I am not sure. Gus Poyet would be my choice

Don’t know if it was the poor showing or the perishing cold but I was GUTTED by the performance. I have been a supporter for 49 years and thought I was immune from disappointment like this but I still feel numb 24 hours later. We were so poor. Clueless and devoid of quality. Losing so badly to relegation rivals. I guess I am trying not to admit to myself we look like going down. This has to be our lowest point or we will. No excuses – injuries, new signings having little or no impact. No change of Managers either. This simply is not an option. This is McCarthy’s team, we have to see this through WITH him. You don’t remain a Manager for 500 games if you are useless. Just remind yourself what Mick has created here. Back him, don’t sack him! We need to get players back from injury and bring in new signings with a PROVEN record in the Premier League. Untried foreigners are too much of a gamble. We desperately need some leaders and winners. I did not boo nor leave early and I will not do this. I hope our fans now get right behind the boys. The crowd were served up rubbish yesterday but made matters worse by moans and groans when things went wrong. I must say this was the poorest showing in recent years. Players, you owe us something special. Please – no gallant losers at Anfeild tomorrow. You are now playing for the shirt and the respect of us fans. As Black Country folks we expect some guts from our team. Time to step up and show some serious character, players!

But to be honest, Scrouge Moxey is there, he loves Mick cos he dont have any ambition to break the wage structure, which mean BIG FAT BONUS FOR BIG FAT CONTROLLER
I suggest Wolves fans take back there club by demonstrating outside if we loose our next home match….

I like Mick; I believe him to be genuine and hard working, just like his team; lets remember how bad it was watching Hoddle’s Wolves.
Mick has had three good seasons since he took over but he appears to have an inability to buy defenders and this defence is going to get us relegated. Its no good Mick blaming the defence; he bought them and they are not good enough!
Mick has done a good job but this is the worst premier league defence since Sunderland got relegated!!

Nice lads who ‘put in a shift’ are not keeping us in this division!! Stephen Ward, George Elokobi and Richard Stearman are simply not good enough at this level and never will be, Elokobi is not a footballer, his distribution, reading of the game and positional play are poor to say the least – we could have got Shorey at the start of the season for £1M, but he went to Albion instead. Leaving Mick in the job for the January transfer window will be a bad idea. We need 5 first team players in January, not players who will ‘add’ to the squad – its desperate times at our great club, Mick you have taken us as far as you can, thanks for everything, but time to go now, and PLEASE take Terry Connor and his clipboard with you!!!

To say that the Wolves are in a precarious position is putting it seriously mildly. Of course, according to MM, I am just another ‘numpty’ who hasn’t got a clue about the game of football .
Who’s the numpty now pal?
Come on SM and JM, show a bit of respect for your fans and make a move NOW for a manager who can get the team motivated to play good soccer in their proper positions. Two or three victories would make a massive difference.

A total lack of respect is shown by MM to fans on frequent occasions!
A very high ticket price for watching such average players & tactics when quality is left out!
An arrogant stubborness shown by a manager that is so clearly clueless at this level (backed by his near 100 games in prem) offically worst manager in prem history! So you have got to ask … where has the arrogance come from?

Come on Mick cant you see a pattern with your team. They are never “good enough” ” to WIN the crucial big games that really decide a season. It was the same against Wigan, pompey, hull, brum last season, but we stayed up because we were lucky and did a little better than the others who went down.
This season against Blackpool,Blackburn,Wigan, Newcastle, west ham, fulham the teams around us we have NOT been “Good enough” to beat any of these teams.
The league doesnt lie, look at the 10 teams above us and you will see we have only managed to beat Brum.
Even Andy Gray is saying we will struggle to stay up.
I think Mr Morgan needs to make a decision on whether we stick or twist and get a new man in

Yes, he may be short term fix but that is not the answer. We need a manager who can attract top players (added to the good players we already have and academy boys)(especially defenders) and build a good entertaining side. Ok, my feelings are as follows:
Morgan – He’s not a wolves fan he’s a Liverpool fan. Ok, credit he has bought the Wolves. But he has one eye on a commercial deal here, i.e the re-development of the ground and a handsome profit on a sale at the end of it. Let’s be honest if this club was his beloved Liverpool then McCarthy would have gone. However, he clearly feels that Wolves have found their level as a struggling premiership club.
Moxey – An accountant he does a great job balancing the books but knows little of what goes on , on the field. His blind loyalty is frankly annoying. Read his program notes on Sunday with some dis-belief.
Mad Mick – Completely and utterly out of his depth in this division.
So, where does this leave us?
Relegation of course, with a handsome profit in the bank, little in the way of debt and the opportunity to get promoted back to the premiership in the next couple of years with the same man at the helm.
My advice is simple, don’t renew your early bird. Im not , I don’t want these people thinking that I support the way the club is run in any shape or form.
I don’t want to do a portsmouth, but I would like to see some ambition, something Morgan clearly doesn’t share with me.
