Sam Vokes injures hamstring again

Wolves’ luckless striker Sam Vokes has damaged his hamstring again.

The 21-year-old, who is on loan to Bristol City until January, had only just started training at Wolves when he suffered a similar injury.

City boss Keith Millen said: “Sam was training with Wolves when the hamstring went again. It’s not as bad, but he strained the tendon.”

“We’re not sure how long he’s going to be out.”

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has also revealed midfielder David Davis, who has just returned from a loan at Walsall, could join another club on a similar basis.

He said: “If David isn’t involved there might be a chance to go out.”
