Omroep Brabant reported the Baggies will be lining up against the likes Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven, Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem and Portuguese giants Porto at the Gelredome in Arnhem from July 21-23.

The station put out a story on its website earlier today, 24 hours ahead of Albion's planned launch.

The tournament will come after the Baggies take on a gruelling fitness and conditioning week in Austria at the beginning of July. Head coach Tony Pulis has already confirmed the club are returning to the gruelling hills of Austria in early July for the first part of pre-season.

The week-long camp will be designed to get the players as fit as possible following their break over the summer and won't include any games until the end of the trip.

"All of pre-season is done, so we're up and running," said Pulis.

"We know where we're going, we're going to Austria where you never stop. People should come over and have a look.

One day they're running up the hills and the next day they're cycling up them so they are not pounding it every day."

Most of the players are due back at the training ground on Monday, July 4, although those internationals who have played in Euro 2016 or the Copa America will be given their own tailored return dates.

When they return from Austria, Albion will play a friendly away at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday, July 16.

Pulis added: "Pre-season is vital. If they get a good pre-season it gives them the base to remain fit."

After the team return from their second tour abroad, they will be playing two friendlies in Devon against Plymouth Argyle and Torquay United. The Baggies travel to Home Park to face League Two Plymouth on Saturday, July 30, before taking on Torquay two days later.
