Boss Tony Pulis has come under fire this season from some fans for his unadventurous style of football.

All 10 of Albion's Premier League wins have been won by a single goal, and seven of those victories have finished 1-0.

The Baggies are the only side in the top three divisions who have failed to win a game by more than one goal this season.

Now that Albion have put season tickets on sale, there are some fans warning they will not be renewing their seats.

Olsson appreciates the frustration and confirmed Pulis is concerned with results more than aesthetics.

The stopper said: "The manager is very clear on that, he's here to make results, and he has made results.

"I understand football is entertainment and there needs to be a balance with entertainment, whatever entertainment is, it's a very subjective thing of course, it's different for everyone.

"But for the players and the staff there has to be only one thing that's important and that's the results.

"Since the manager came in, we've been putting down some really good results for this football club."

Only bottom club Villa have scored fewer goals and created fewer chances in the Premier League this season than Albion.

The club have also failed to register a shot on target on seven separate occasions.

But Pulis is aware of the issues and has highlighted the need to add creative midfielders to his squad this summer.

Victor Anichebe is out of contract this summer and will be allowed to leave the club, but Pulis could also need replacements for James Morrison, Stephane Sessegnon and Saido Berahino.

There are still doubts clouding the future of those three players, but the club have already secured Olsson's services for another year.

The 33-year-old is entering his ninth season at the Hawthorns and he reckons having a settled dressing room is useful ahead of a busy summer.

He said: "It's important to have players that have been here a long time and know the club and feel for the club.

"I'm not saying the players that have been here shorter don't feel for the club. Working together as a group, of course you need players who have experience and who know how to go about the club.

"The dressing room is excellent, if you ask the new players who come in most of them will say it's a group that's easy to get into and feel welcome and feel settled. That's a big part of the success."

Olsson has played more than 30 games this season, but Pulis warned the centre-back that he may not feature so heavily in the next campaign. Olsson wants to prove his head coach wrong.

He said: "I accept that, and obviously anybody who signs a contract is not guaranteed to play.

"I came into this season with a similar approach, we signed Jonny Evans for big money, we signed James Chester for big money, Joleon Lescott was still here and we have Gareth, so competition is hard.

"But if you want to progress as a team, competition has to be hard so it's something you embrace."
