The former Crystal Palace and Stoke boss is in line for an extension to his current £2 million-a-year deal, which is set to expire next summer.

It is widely believed Pulis is already plotting big changes at the Hawthorns with negotiations over improved terms expected to start in the next few weeks with chairman Jeremy Peace.

Pulis has never been relegated as a manager and last weekend's goalless draw with Sunderland saw the Baggies reach the crucial 40-point mark.

However the 58-year-old has come under criticism from fans over Albion's style of play that have raised doubt's over the manager's future.

Saido Berahino and Stéphane Sessègnon are two of the higher profile players that have been tipped to leave at the end of the season.
