West Brom have now got a front pair to threaten any team in the Premier League, according to Baggies boss Tony Pulis.

Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino were in inspired form against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and both are in line to start away at Leicester City tonight.

The league leaders have only let in three goals in their last five games, but Pulis thinks his strike partnership can give their defence a run for their money.

He said: "You get those two together and they could be a handful for anybody when they play well.

Although he didn't score, many fans thought Saturday was Rondon's best all-round performance in an Albion shirt.

Pulis said: "Salomon played really well at the beginning of the season and didn't get the breaks and the goals that he deserved.

"I think he has played better for us, but it was nice to have him back to that level."

Often isolated this season, the Venezuelan visibly benefitted from Berahino's link-up play on Saturday.

Pulis said: "He doesn't just help Salomon, he helps the team. Saido's a good player. He can play with the ball, without the ball and he can score goals.

"He's in that lovely position where he can play off the front. He's an intelligent footballer. It highlights the fact that we have done exceptionally well this season without our star player.

"To have as many points as we've got with 11 games to go, I think the other players deserve a lot of credit for that."

Albion left-back Chris Brunt is seeing a knee specialist today after he was stretchered off against Palace.

Only then will the extent of the damage be known, but Pulis is disappointed to lose the Northern Irishman to injury.

He said: "There was a better balance with Chris in the team. For a team of our stature, you need your best players fit all the time and missing Brunty is going to be a blow for us."
