Albion boss Tony Pulis says all of his players are for sale for the right price, as Leicester become the latest club to be linked with striker Saido Berahino.

Pulis confirmed no club had yet managed to match the price chairman Jeremy Peace wants for the 22-year-old forward.

And he expects any deals to be done at the back end of this January transfer window.

"When a club comes in and actually buys him we'll be in a position to talk about it," said Pulis.

"No-one has done that yet so he's still a West Bromwich Albion player.

"Every player is for sale if the price is right and if the club deem it to be right.

"The chairman will be the one who will control that and the chairman will decide that.

"He will control everything that happens with Saido.

"Most of the business usually happens at the back end of the window so again we'll suck it and see. We dont know what's going to happen yet."

Berahino hasn't started a match under Pulis since October, but he scored against Bristol City in the FA Cup and looked lively against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

"He came on at Chelsea and did really well," said Pulis. "I was really pleased with his attitude, he's getting fitter.

"I wouldn't say he's back to his best yet but he's getting fitter.

"The problem is you have this window every six months.

"He was getting back fitter and then all of a sudden the window opens again.

"He's better than what he has been and he's really been keen to get some game time which has been good."

The team travelled down to Southampton straight after Wednesday's draw at Chelsea.

They have been staying in a hotel on the south coast and will be training today at a local football club.

"We just thought it was right for the lads instead of going back up to Birmingham," said Pulis. "Some of them even travel to Manchester.

"To do all of that travelling, obviously it's a hectic period, you're trying to work out the best way of doing it."

Pulis is making sure his players rest up after the energy-sapping draw at Stamford Bridge, and only took them for a team walk on Thursday.

James Morrison has been ruled out with the hamstring injury he picked up against Chelsea, while Jonas Olsson will be assessed tomorrow for the same problem.

Rickie Lambert was left out of the midweek match-day squad because he had flu, but he should make the bench against his old club Southampton.

"We won't start with him but we'll see what he trains like today and then we'll take a view," said Pulis.

The Baggies go into tomorrow's game at St Mary's with seven points out of a possible nine.

"We've had three great results," said Pulis.

"It's good form for us, we know it will be a tough game.

"They've had a great win against Watford on Wednesday night so that will give their confidence a massive boost."
