Albion's FA Cup injury-time hero James Morrison has admitted that his future at the club is uncertain.

The 29-year-old's contract runs out at the end of this season, but there are no talks going on at the moment to renew it.

And the Scotland international, currently in his ninth season at the Baggies, has highlighted that fact to other clubs.

Asked if there were any new deals in the pipeline, he said: "No, I'm a free agent in the summer.

"It plays on the back of your mind but as a professional you've got to keep going. It's not up to me, it's up to the club isn't it, I can't do 'owt if they don't speak to me. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing on the pitch.

"If you're looking, I'm a free transfer in the summer."

Morrison netted a 94th minute equaliser against Bristol City on Saturday to keep the Baggies in the FA Cup.

It was his fourth goal of the season, making him the club's joint-top scorer for this campaign alongside Saido Berahino, who opened the scoring from the bench on Saturday.

Morrison is also joint-top of Albion's assist chart, and the former Middlesbrough midfielder has been a regular in the side since he joined in 2007.

He reckons Bristol's comeback in the last 20 minutes was down to fatigue.

"We just got a bit sloppy," said Morrison. "It's an accumulation of the Christmas period and we've played the same team over and over. That caught up with us a little bit, fair play to Bristol they played some good stuff and took their chances."

Albion now face a return leg at Ashton Gate on either January 26 or 27, a few days before they host Villa at The Hawthorns.

The main aim is to retain Premier League status, but Morrison's pleased to be in tonight's fourth round draw.

"The manager said after the game when he got to the final, he drew his first game at Cardiff,"

He added: "There's another chance to get into the next round which is the main thing in

the end."
