The winger came on for Wes Hoolahan in the 55th minute of Ireland's 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dublin last night.

That second-leg victory sent Martin O'Neill's side through to the Euros 3-1 on aggregate.

McClean joins Welsh defender James Chester and Albion's Northern Irish trio - Jonny Evans, Gareth McAuley and Chris Brunt - in reaching the tournament.

The 26-year-old tweeted a message to any doubters after the game.

There was also a nice moment caught on camera during the first-half.

McClean, warming up on the touchline, was asked by some Irish fans to duck down so they could see Jonathan Walters' score his 24th-minute penalty.

Not only did the Albion winger oblige, but he also checked back with the fans to make sure they could see.
