Second-half goals from Yannick Bolasie and Yohann Cabaye - the first the Baggies have conceded on the road in the league this term- saw them lose.

A sorry performance at Selhurst Park saw Albion fail to register a shot on target until stoppage time and Pulis conceded the display simply wasn't good enough.

He said: "How do you legislate for it? I don't know if it was confidence or whatever. But we've got to sort it out. We can't go from a performance of eights and then drop down to threes and fours.

"I'm not picking on one person, that's the group. They certainly weren't on it."

Despite Gareth McAuley being passed fit, Albion lost Jonny Evans in the first-half to a hamstring injury, while James Morrison also went off in the second-half with an ankle problem.

Both are due to depart in international duty and Pulis confirmed both would be assessed tomorrow, together with McAuley.

He felt a recurrence of the calf problem which ruled him out of Monday's 3-2 defeat to Everton late in the game.

Pulis said: "The concern is obviously for Northern Ireland, with the two big games they've got. Gareth felt his calf as well. Whether or not those two will travel I don't know.

"We've got a problem with Morrison - he's felt his ankle. The home nations, we want to help them as much as we can. Me in particular, if I can.

"Fingers crossed they'll be OK. If they're anywhere near it, we'll give them a chance to play. It will be all down to the doctor. He'll scan them tomorrow.

"The scans now are absolutely fantastic, so he'll know whether they're serious injuries or not.

"For us as a football club, we've players playing for the home nations and we want the home nations to do well."
