West Brom could turn back to Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio if Queens Park Rangers refuse to lower their demands for Matt Phillips.

The Baggies are considering moving for 25-year-old Antonio if they cannot strike a deal for Phillips, who QPR value at £10million.

And Albion could virtually break even on £1.6m signing Sebastian Blanco, as the winger prepares to return to Argentina for a deal that could be worth up to £1.5m.

Tony Pulis is determined to transform his side out wide this season by recruiting at least two new wingers and offloading Blanco.

He's proved a poor fit for the club last season after his switch from Metalist Kharkiv in Ukraine.

Blanco has now returned to San Lorenzo in Argentina, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, and is training with the club as the Baggies prepare to put the finishing touches to his sale.

It's believed the deal could be worth £1.5m if all add-ons are paid, meaning the Baggies could still avoid a significant financial hit on the 27-year-old.

Blanco made just three substitute appearances in the Premier League and started twice for Albion in the Capital One Cup.

Pulis remains keen on Phillips but Rangers are playing hardball on their £10m valuation.

And, after the Baggies had an initial £5m offer rejected, Antonio – valued by his club at £6m – is again a possible target.

The Baggies considered a move for him in January, but a deal for the man who was plucked from non-league football by Reading in 2008 proved too costly.

The Baggies have already signed James McClean from Wigan for £1.5m, but are running out of time to add more new faces.

They fly to America on Sunday for an eight-day training camp that includes pre-season friendlies in Orlando, Charleston and Richmond.
