West Brom midfielder James Morrison has revealed he chose striker Saido Berahino as his Player of the Season – just a year after the pair's infamous dressing-room bust-up.

Morrison confirmed his vote went to the 20-goal striker, as Albion published a video of players giving reasons for their choices.

Morrison and Berahino were involved in a well-publicised clash after last season's draw at home to Cardiff.

But the England Under-21 international has improved relations with team-mates this season and Morrison said: "My Players' Player of the season was Saido Berahino, just for all the goals he's scored.

"If you look at his points total for the goals, that's why we've got 44 points and we've had a good season."

Former captain Chris Brunt also voted for Berahino while current skipper Darren Fletcher opted for midfield partner Claudio Yacob. Berahino, who won the prize, himself voted for defender Joleon Lescott.
