Dorrans left he Hawthorns this week to join the Canaries on loan with the deal expected to become permanent for around £2m at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old made 189 appearances for Albion and was the star of their 2009-10 promotion from the Championship.

Pulis said: "Graham has been a great servant to this football club over seven years. The club paid a couple of hundred thousand pounds for him.

"I only worked with him for a short period of time and found him to be a very good lad and also a very good professional.

"Norwich have got a good player and I'm sure he'll help them get where they want to go, whether that is the play-offs or automatically promoted.

"Graham will certainly be an asset. Everything he did around the place was first-class."

Meanwhile, Pulis revealed Victor Anichebe (groin) is likely to be his only absentee through injury for Saturday's Premier League trip to Sunderland.
