Graham Dorrans having medical at Norwich City

Albion's Graham Dorrans was this afternoon heading to Norwich City for a medical as the Canaries appear to have won the race for the midfielder.

The 27-year-old looks set to leave the Hawthorns in a deal worth around £4m after Norwich beat off competition from Premier League Burnley.

Dorrans' transfer looks likely to open the door for Darren Fletcher's move from Manchester United. The Scotland international's proposed switch to West Ham collapsed and the Baggies are now in pole position to sign the 31-year-old.

Dorrans has less than five months left on his Baggies deal and Albion are happy to cash in, rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.
