Albion striker Saido Berahino had his first taste of training with the full England squad today.more

The 21-year-old joined Danny Welbeck, Calum Chambers, Jack Wilshere and Ross Barkley in a modified session on a wet morning at St George's Park.

Berahino, who has won his first call-up for Roy Hodgson's squad, was part of the smaller group who all played for their clubs on Sunday.

The five players started the training session but then went in to do gym work, with Jamaal Lascelles and QPR's former Wolves loanee Jack Robinson – now on loan at Huddersfield - brought up from the Under-21s to make up the numbers.

Gary Cahill, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andros Townsend missed the session, as did Everton duo Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka.

The quintet were kept out as a precautionary measure but are expected to be available for Saturday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia.
