[gallery]Albion tossed away a 3-0 lead as Tottenham claimed an unlikely point through Christian Eriksen's 94th-minute equaliser.

The Baggies drew 3-3 for the second successive home game despite leading 3-0 inside 31 minutes through Matej Vydra, Chris Brunt and Stephane Sessegnon.

Jonas Olsson's unfortunate own-goal made it 3-1 at half-time and Harry Kane's 70th-minute header set up a tense finish.

Albion looked set to hold firm to move to 35 points but Eriksen struck four minutes into stoppage time to punish the hosts for a ragged second-half display.

Albion made a dream start when they went ahead with just 27 seconds on the clock.

Morgan Amalfitano left Danny Rose standing on the Baggies right and his cross was palmed away by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris into the path of Vydra, who produced a sweet finish from around 15 yards.

And it was 2-0 in the fourth minute courtesy of more dreadful Spurs defending and another fine Baggies finish.

A cross from Steven Reid was flicked on Stephane Sessegnon and Brunt arrived beyond the far post to send a crisp half-volley past Lloris.

But Spurs had chances of their own and Harry Kane saw a shot from the edge of the box fly just wide before he missed a glorious chance when he fired wide when unmarked at the near post from a cross by Rose.

And Spurs should have reduced the arrears on 16 minutes when they were awarded a penalty for Amalfitano's clumsy challenge on Nacer Chadli.

But Emmanuel Adebayor hit a dreadful penalty, which gave Baggies keeper Ben Foster a relatively comfortable save.

On 25 minutes the Baggies could have doubled their lead when a neat move ended with Amalfitano bearing down on goal, but his shot from a tight angle was palmed over by Lloris with Albion team-mates screaming for a cross instead.

It was 3-0 on 31 minutes as the pattern continued with more dreadful defending and another smart finish.

Younes Kaboul completely misjudged a high ball from Jonas Olsson with Sessegnon racing clear and sending a low finish past the advancing Lloris.

But just two minutes later Spurs reduced the arrears thanks to some poor defending from the home side and an unfortunate break.

Kane fed Aaron Lennon in too much space on the right and his low drive looped off a sliding Olsson and over Ben Foster into the Albion net.

It could have been 3-2 when Foster parried a shot from Paulinho into the path of Rose, but the Baggies keeper made a smart near-post save to keep out the follow-up.

Early in the second half Foster had to make a smart save to keep out a long-range effort from Lennon.

And the visitors were screaming for a penalty when Rose when down under Steven Reid's challenge, but referee Neil Sawbrick booked the Tottenham man for diving with replays suggesting the decision was correct.

But with 20 minutes remaining, Spurs pulled to within one goal as Kane struck.

He was one of several players unmarked in the Baggies box and he rose to head home a cross from Lennon, who had beaten Ridgewell.

Albion were then forced to play the final stages without key defender Jonas Olsson after he limped off to be replaced by Craig Dawson.

The Baggies had to weather a storm of late pressure with Dawson making a crucial sliding block from an Adebayor shot as they held on.
