Albion's chief sponsors Zoopla have confirmed they will end their deal with the Baggies after Nicolas Anelka's quenelle gesture.

moreThe property website were unhappy the striker used the controversial sign when he celebrated scoring against West Ham last month.

They are part-owned by Jewish businessman Alex Chesterman and had put pressure on the Baggies to drop Anelka for tonight's game with Everton.

Zoopla was understood to have delivered the ultimatum last week, amid claims Anelka's gesture has anti-Semitic connotations.

The £3m deal was due to expire at the end of the season and Zoopla have now confirmed they will not renew it.

A statement from the company read: "Zoopla has been reviewing its position over the past few weeks in light of the actions of striker, Nicolas Anelka, during the match against West Ham over the Christmas period and has decided to focus its attention on other marketing activities after this season".

Anelka insisted the salute was a tribute to French comedian and his friend Dieudonné and not anti-Semitic.
