Albion defender Billy Jones today backed the Baggies new-boys to excite fans if they make their debuts at Fulham on Saturday.
Deadline-day signings Morgan Amalfitano, Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe are all available to make their Baggies bows while Scott Sinclair could make just his second Premier League appearance for the club.
Steve Clarke’s side have no goals and just one point from their opening three games but full-back Jones said: “The new boys have looked really good in training.
“You can see all the qualities there and fair play to the club; they have made some great signings which are only going to help the squad.
“And the squad, with Zoltan Gera and George Thorne coming back from injury, looks really strong.
“As a group we just want to kick on now and get that first win as soon as possible and find that consistency we showed at times last year.
“It will be exciting to see the new boys in action and I think they are really wanting to impress.”
