The Baggies return to home turf looking to bounce back from Wednesday's defeat at Swansea and Odemwingie is warning them to expect a different challenge.

But he says they must not change their own approach to combat the Potters.

"It's a totally different type of football we'll face tomorrow," said the striker.

"It will be more physical with more long balls but we have to play our own game – the one we've been successful with so far.

"The top teams try to combine both styles.

"We need to adjust to different styles but make sure we stick to our best qualities.

"I think Stoke have improved during my time in England.

"They have reached an FA Cup final and played in the Europa League.

"They are a difficult side to play against for every Premier League team."

And Odemwingie insisted Wednesday's reverse in south Wales need only be a minor setback for the Baggies in their flying start to the season.

Steve Clarke's men had won four successive matches before losing at the Liberty Stadium and remain fourth in the table despite the defeat.

"We knew a defeat was coming one day because you can't keep winning every game in the Premier League," said the Nigeria international.

"Hopefully this is just a game that will slow us down a little bit; tomorrow is in our minds now and we're already thinking about winning our home game.

"It's difficult to keep that same form and performances going all the time.

"We're still in the top four and that is a plus for us."
