Ben Foster has West Brom set for six of the best

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster today admitted the next six games could define the club’s Premier League season.

West Brom face Norwich tomorrow in the first of six successive fixtures against relegation rivals.

And Foster admitted fans and pundits are right to pinpoint the spell as vital to their survival hopes.

The 28-year-old said: “I think we look at it in the same way.

“Everyone is aware of our next half a dozen fixtures and they are massive games for us.

“It’s a huge part of our season and a chunk of the season that, when the fixtures were announced, everyone would have looked at and pinpointed as a pivotal time for our season.

“If we do well in these games and pick up a fair haul of points we could end up being in eighth or ninth position at the end of them.

“That’s what we’ll be looking to do. It could make us comfortable and that’s what we want.”

After playing Norwich, who visit the Hawthorns again in a fortnight in the FA Cup, the Baggies face Stoke, Fulham, Swansea, Wolves and Sunderland in their next five league games.

Stories like this always make me laugh, we’re playing 6 games from teams outside the bottom six so we should get some points? Everyone knows how unpredictable the premiership is, thats why william hill is so loaded !
i wander what the odds are on albion getting 6 points in the next 6 games and another 6 in the following two fixtures against Chelsea and Man U ?
    stranger things have happened !

1.Rowley. I find it more interesting that Foster talks about ‘us’ and ‘our’ because I’d love us to keep him after this season. He’s settled in well and the defence looks solid with him there. The rest of it? Bores me saft! The only games in the Prem where we cannot predict anything are these ones, where the teams are evenly matched and the ref may not have a big influence.
