George Thorne, Joe Mattock and Marc-Antoine Fortune seal loan exits

West Brom youngsters George Thorne and Joe Mattock today joined Portsmouth on loan until January.
Former Baggies assistant boss Michael Appleton was keen to take the duo to Fratton Park after taking over as manager and has sealed the deal ahead of today’s 5pm loan deadline.
Doncaster have also landed Marc-Antoine Fortune on loan from the Baggies, although that deal was dependent on Shane Long’s fitness.
